Stephanie and Dan choose to host their wedding ceremony at Valdemars Slot, an absolutley breath-taking place. It is Denmark’s greatest and most comprehensive Manor House Museumat the romantic and peaceful island Taasinge south of Funen. Stephanie and Dan married in the Chapel – a more romantic church is hardly found and celebrated afterwards in the restaurant.

Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end.

Even the Manor House with more than 21 lavishly furnished rooms and chambers, packed with historical antiques and objects from the time of Admiral Niels Juel. You can also see the extensive castle kitchen filled with copper utensils . The greatest collection of trophies and ethnography in Scandinavia gathered on two attics in the Manor house.

The central room in the castle is the airy Tiled Hall, decorated during the major restorations in the 1750s by the Ghamberlain, Niels Juel. The wooden female figures symbolise the four seasons. They originate from the beginning of the eighteenth century.
Covering more than 8.000 m2 the castle is the largest private home in Denmark. The Westindian bedroom in one of the 21 accessible galleries and rooms.
