South Beach developer and entrepreneur Thomas Kramer hosted a Candy Land-themed fundraiser for Joshua’s Heart Foundation on Star Island, Miami Beach, in December 2009.
The event included lots of sweets, plus a runway show with local students modeling clothing from Lilly Pulitzer and Bon Point — and celebrity canine Chispita, mascot of Univision’s Despierta América, modeling doggy attire from Milou Couture.
Joshua’s Heart is raising funds to help needy people with food and educational opportunities. Joshua, the boy who founded this organization when he was five, is determined to make sure people in and around his South Florida community don’t live in hunger, and that kids can get the nourishment and the help they need to succeed in school.

They also fund tutors to help students at the Hallandale Beach Youth Teen Center study for the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test and the SAT.
Joshua’s Heart Foundation is working hard to help people who need help. Joshua believes this is his mission in life, and his family and friends are committed to helping his vision succeed.
